The Landscape Team was founded in 2013 by Aaron Rayburn, but its roots run much deeper than that. From a young age, Aaron knew he wanted to work for himself — a dream shaped by watching his grandmother run her own business with strength, grace, and independence. After gaining eight years of hands-on experience in both commercial and residential landscaping, Aaron took a leap of faith and turned that long-standing dream into reality.
What started as a one-man operation with little more than determination and a strong work ethic has since grown into one of the most trusted names in landscaping and outdoor construction in Trussville and surrounding communities. But while the business has grown, our values have stayed the same: honesty, integrity, teamwork, and passion. These are more than just words to us — they’re the foundation of everything we do.
At The Landscape Team, we didn’t find landscaping — it found us. And today, we’re proud to use that passion to serve our clients, build beautiful spaces, and grow something lasting — both in the ground and in the relationships we create along the way.

Aaron’s journey into landscaping began shortly after high school, when he took a job in the industry without knowing it would become his career. But what began as a way to earn a paycheck quickly became a true passion — for building, designing, problem-solving, and transforming outdoor spaces into something functional, personal, and beautiful.
That same passion still drives our team today.

For us, success means giving our clients peace of mind — knowing they can count on our expertise, our reliability, and our craftsmanship. At the heart of our operation is a well-rounded, accountable team committed to excellence.
Our Construction Manager, Kenneth Sundberg, is Aaron’s right-hand man and brings skill and leadership to all our outdoor builds.
TJ McDaniel, our Maintenance Manager, ensures the upkeep of every property meets our high standards.

We specialize in landscape construction, design, and maintenance, offering everything from decking, fencing, drainage solutions, sod installation, and grading to routine care and upkeep.
